Megan Aroon - The Artist Behind Geartopia

Megan Aroon is the artist behind the scenes at Geartopia - creating magic and whimsy with the stroke of a paintbrush. The idea for Geartopia came to Megan while she was creating new doodle gear inspired art, particularly with her GEAR BEAR teddy bears. As the bears began to come to life in rich vibrant colors, with their gears creating movement and motion, Megan knew she had to bring these gears into a world of pure imagination - Geartopia was born!

The inspiration behind all of Megan's doodle gear paintings, stems from her love of the sport of cycling. Megan has always been an outdoorsy, adventurous person (having grown up off grid in the wild bush of Alaska) and cycling was the perfect fit, from racing mountain bikes and having her own team representing her art, to traveling the country in her self converted campervan to find epic places to ride her road bike. Megan is constantly living a life in motion on two wheels, the gears spinning her away to new adventures. Combining her love of cycling and art was the perfect fit and led to the creative idea to build a world for children based on whimsical, magical art and gears - Geartopia.

Megan has been a professional, full-time artist for over 15 years, with her art being sold around the world and grossing 10's of millions of dollars in sales. Her art has been on tv shows such as Greys Anatomy, Telemundo, Celebrity Wife Swap, Good Morning America and found in retail stores Urban Outfitters, Nordstrom, Home goods and so much more!
